I grew up on a small hobby ranch in Santa Clarita, CA with my parents- Dennis and Susan - and my sister Skye. My father is a retired engineer, my mother a retired nurse and my sister is a science teacher. Education and community have always been very important to my family. Both my parents have actively participated in the city government, school boards, 4-H, as well as numerous other committees and associations aimed at preserving wilderness and trails, regulating development, and promoting education in the Santa Clarita Valley.
I am passionate about my job and take great pride in helping clients with their pets' medical needs. Whether it be routine veterinary care, a middle of the night emergency, or sports related injuries and rehabilitation, whatever they need!
Continuing education and volunteer opportunities have enabled me to travel around the world and have kept me on the cutting edge of my profession. I enjoy mentoring students of all ages, public speaking at schools, and client education. In my spare time, I enjoy hunting, fishing, horseback riding, backpacking and exploring the mountains and back roads.
In 2012, I pursued my dream of owning and operating my own mobile veterinary practice serving patients throughout the greater Los Angeles County. That is how Twin Oaks Equine was born.
