What to Expect

When you are looking for an equine care clinic you should be able to count on superior care and excellent service. Here at Twin Oaks we aim for nothing lower than that! Expect a staff ready to go above and beyond for your needs while keeping a positive and friendly attitude.

Once a year, you should take your horse in for a check-up. This will include a full physical exam, and may include teeth and gum cleaning if needed. Dr. Rachael will check the health of your animal from head to tail. If the horse is new to you, it will be helpful to gather as much information on it as you can before the visit. This will help us to rule out additional treatments that may have been taken care of previously (i.e. Vaccinations)

In some circumstances, Dr. Rachael may refer cases to a specialist who has advanced expertise in areas such as internal medicine, neurology or surgery.
